About Us

 

The farm is a family owned and run operation. Majority of the work load and daily farm operations will be the responsibility of Dwight D. Williams Jr., his team and other family members who will volunteer services when needed. Volunteer, intern and 4-H programs will be developed as farm progresses. There is not currently a CSA in the area which serves as an opportunity as well.

What's in store for Mother Earth Organics?

Turning a dream into sustainable reality.​

 

Mother Earth Organic Farm will consist 36 total acres of farmland. An organic black walnut tree orchard will make up 20 acres of the farmland.

​

The remaining 16 acres will be used to raise organic livestock and grow non-genetically modified and organic fruits and vegetables.

​

The animals raised on Mother Earth Organic Farm include grass fed beef, free range chicken and honey bees.

​

Mother Earth will specialize in the seasonal production of fruits such as peaches, plums, blueberries, strawberries, grapes, and melons.

 

Mother Earth will specialize in the year round production of cucumbers, kale, bell peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, squash, onions and okra.

​

Mother Earth Organic Farm will also include the seasonal production of lettuce, ginger, soy, fennel, basil thyme, clovers, flower production and turnip greens.

Once the woodland is cleared and the soil is tested a crop rotation will be established to take advantage of compost production and cover crops to maintain soil fertility!!!
